Amazon is having a sale on swimsuits that are cheap and don’t fall apart. These swimsuits are the best of both worlds because they’re inexpensive, but also durable and long-lasting.
The high waisted cheeky one piece swimsuit is a cheap Amazon swimsuit that doesn’t fall apart. It is made of high quality material and has a flattering cut.
Swimsuits are one of those things where you’re either willing to spend $100 on a beautiful suit that you’ll wear for the next several years or willing to purchase $20 suits that are…OK, we guess? But what about a low-cost swimsuit that’s high-quality, really attractive, and won’t fall apart the first time you wear it?
Naturally, Amazon offers a plethora of choices for low-cost, very popular (we’re talking tens of thousands of reviews here) bikinis that customers rave about. However, considering how unreliable Amazon reviews may be, we decided to put these bikinis to the test ourselves. Were they all able to withstand the test? No. However, the ones listed below did.
Black Halter One-Piece by Smismivo Swimwear
In this one-piece that pulls you in, emphasizes your curves, and feels very safe, I feel super grabbed. In comparison to other one-piece choices on the market, I felt that the halter neck combined with the square neckline is very attractive and gives this suit a feminine touch. There are a plethora of hues to select from as well. — Associate lifestyle editor Kiana Murden
Vintage Sailor Pinup Swimsuit by Cocoship
Swimsuits with skirts may appear matronly or costumey, and I’m happy to report that this one falls into neither category. This swimsuit, which has horizontal stripes across the breast and a black skirt with matching shorts beneath, is one of those that you can wear to the beach and then to a sandwich shop or grocery store afterwards (assuming you’re already in Florida like I was). The shape hugs your contours and conceals your hips, making it a great option if you want to be more modest for whatever reason. The white stripes never become see-through when wet, and the quality is excellent. — Lifestyle editor Rachel Lubitz
Women’s Hilor One-Piece Swimsuit
A seductively seductive one-piece? Please include us. This was one of the most comfortable swimsuits I tested, with multi-band accents over the shoulders and waist, with mesh running between each of the bands. It was also a little large, so go down a size. Overall, it made me feel like a Bond girl, something I never expected from a $20 bikini. The only issue I had was being worried that it might create weird-looking tan/sunburn lines all over our bodies, but that was never an issue since I always wore adequate sunscreen. — Lifestyle editor Rachel Lubitz
Ruuhee Crisscross High-Waisted Two-Piece Bathing Suit Ruuhee Crisscross High-Waisted Two-Piece Bathing Suit Ruuhee Criss
I was eager to test this suit since it has so many good reviews from people who say it “fits like a glove” and is “the highest-quality swimsuit on Amazon” — but because swimsuits aren’t one-size-fits-all, you never know, particularly on Amazon. However, I can attest that it is well worth the hype! This outfit was ordered on Monday and delivered to my door on Tuesday morning (gotta love Prime!). It is true to size, and the high-waisted bottoms cinch everything in and provide enough of coverage. The top has padding, adjustable straps, and ties that you may change to make the top more cheeky if that’s your style. And, if you haven’t already done so, this suit is available in over 20 other colors and designs. — Stephanie Griffin is a social media consultant.
Men’s Maamgic Swim Trunks
These were definitely my favorite pair of trunks, featuring a stylish 7-inch inseam. They’ve got three pockets (two on the side, one on the back) and have a fine mesh lining, which made them feel much more comfortable than the other two swimsuits I tried. — Kai Burkhardt, associate editor
Cupshe One-Piece Swimsuit Wrap for Women
This outfit has been all over my Instagram feed, and I know why. This outfit is a bargain at $32.99! It has a design that is comparable to bathing suits that cost more than $100. It was comfy and true to size. The rear of the suit provides the same amount of covering as the front, allowing you to feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. For those with bigger chests, this is a bonus! I bought the orange/white version, and the white top was thankfully not see-through even when wet. After spending a day with me in it, two of my friends have already bought it! Deputy editor Rosanne Salvatore
Omkagi Bikini, Two-Piece Bandeau
There’s something so simplistic about a bandeau bikini. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option you can get shipped to you quickly, I’d definitely recommend this one. The top feels supportive, a necessity for a strapless bikini, and the bottoms are high-waisted and aren’t super cheeky — although they do sit below the belly button. My one con is that I ordered the navy blue color that is surely more of a deep teal shade in person, but I’d still reach for this on my next pool day. — Kiana Murden, associate lifestyle editor
Barracuda Swim Trunks from Kanu Surf for Men
These trunks come in a variety of hues, some of which are less appealing than others. I went all out with the Fiji Coral pattern, but apart from the striking appearance, this bikini is a great option for your next beach vacation. There are plenty of pockets to store your necessities as you travel from the vehicle to the water, including two huge pockets, a cargo pocket on the right leg, and an extra small inside pocket (actually only big enough for one key). With an 11-inch inseam, the legs are a bit long for my liking, but the waist fit was great. The inside mesh lining was also a bit tighter than I like, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. — Associate editor Kai Burkhardt

Cupshe Falbala High-Waisted Bikini Set for Women
Finding a bikini that properly fits my larger chest (I’m a 32H) is one of my life’s biggest struggles. Ninety-nine percent of ones I’ve tried are either too small for my chest or large enough that it fits my chest and nothing else. It is an exhausting ordeal, and exactly why I love this Cupshe suit so much. Because of the billowing fabric, the top miraculously covered and fit everything. I got a medium in both the top and bottom and I never once worried about popping out. (Mind you, that hasn’t happened since I got my first bikini that ever really fit me this year from Cuup, which runs for a whopping $200 for the set.)
This one, which is clearly much less expensive, is very comfy, and the high-waisted bottoms touch exactly at my waistline, emphasizing and appreciating my curves. This bikini top is so cute that I want it in every color. — Lifestyle editor Rachel Lubitz
Women’s Ekouaer One-Piece Swimsuit
Speaking of Bond girls, this one has a bombshell vibe to it as well. I had some cleavage showing since the bustline was a bit lower than anticipated on me, but after I adjusted the bands correctly, I was much more comfortable. I didn’t feel too va-va-voom for the neighborhood pool since the bottoms were delightfully not-too-high cut. Overall, it gave me a beautiful form and was very comfortable to wear for many hours, and the charming tropical pattern added a pleasant touch. The quality held up even after being washed! — Lifestyle editor Rachel Lubitz
One-Piece Garden Set
This outfit is exactly what it says it is. Because it’s backless, exposes sideboob, and has a high cut on the legs, it’s certainly a more risqué swimwear cut. It runs true to size, and the large was a good fit for me, comfy, and even covered my bigger boobs. The outfit held up well after being washed. This is the one-piece suit for you if you want something contemporary yet traditional. Deputy editor Rosanne Salvatore
Bikini Set in Pink Queen
I’d say this suit was just what I anticipated for the price, particularly since it was only $25. I like the army green hue, and the suit feels solid, which is important. Because the bottoms are high-waisted, they provide a lot of covering if you’re searching for a bikini that doesn’t reveal too much. — Associate lifestyle editor Kiana Murden
Men’s Quick-Dry 9-Inch Swim Trunk from Amazon Essentials
These Amazon Essentials 9-inch shorts were a little shorter than the Kanu trunks, but they were just as beautiful and fit well. There are two side pockets, a small key pocket, and a rear pocket on this pair. The suit’s texture is a little more matte than conventional swimsuit material, giving it a more board shorts-like appearance. — Associate editor Kai Burkhardt
Tempt Me Women’s Vintage Two-Piece Retro Halter Swimsuit
This is one of those costumes that if your top and bottom bodies aren’t the same size, you may have some problems. Though the bottoms were great, the medium-sized top didn’t quite fit my chest and caused me to flow out more than I wanted. However, if you aren’t too busty, I’m sure it would be great, given that the halter is fully adjustable and there are two back straps, one of which you knot yourself, making it seem more secure. It’s a pity this one didn’t fit me since the material seemed to be excellent, and it held up well after a few washes and a swim in the pool. — Lifestyle editor Rachel Lubitz
Set of SouqFone Flounce Tankinis
I was pretty disappointed with the look of this suit. Amazon has a ton of prints and options you can purchase, but the quality of the print is pretty low and the palms looked pixelated and fake in person. The suit itself fits comfortably, if you’re looking for a tankini option. The straps are adjustable and the bottom has some ruching in the front that helps it fit for a variety of shapes and sizes. — Rosanne Salvatore, deputy editor
